Six Nations 2018 gets underway today as Wales host Scotland at the Principality Stadium.
Scotland prevailed 29-13 when the sides met at Murrayfield in last season’s competition, with 19 of those points coming from the boot of Finn Russell.
The result helped the Scots to finish in fourth place, but level on points with second and third-placed Ireland and France, while Wales will be looking to improve on a disappointing campaign that saw them finish second-from-bottom in the table.
John Inverdale will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 1.45pm, where he’ll be joined in the studio by Jonathan Davies, Martin Johnson, Andy Nicol and Sam Warburton.
Match commentary comes from Andrew Cotter, Chris Paterson and Martyn Williams.
Kick-off 2.15pm
The BBC will also air Ireland’s opening game of the competition as they travel to France for a 4.45pm kick-off. This game will also be shown live on BBC One and BBC One HD.
ITV will broadcast the final game of week one when Italy host England at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Sunday afternoon. Kick-off 3.00pm.
