UEFA Europa League

BT Sport will broadcast live UEFA Europa League action this evening as the semi-finals of the 2020/21 competition get underway.

Manchester United host AS Roma at Old Trafford on BT Sport 2 from 7.15pm, while Arsenal travel to the Estadio de la Ceramica to face Villarreal on BT Sport 3 at 7.15pm.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team competed in the UEFA Champions League during the autumn, defeats in their final two Group H fixtures leaving them in third place on nine points behind Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig.

They have subsequently come through three UEFA Europa League ties, comfortably disposing of two Spanish clubs, Real Sociedad and Granada, either side of a tightly contested round of 16 tie against Italian giants AC Milan.

Arsenal, however, claimed maximum points in the autumn from UEFA Europa League Group B, doing the double over Rapid Wien, Dundalk and fellow qualifiers Molde before eliminating Benfica, Olympiacos and, in the quarter-finals, Slavia Praha.

With 32 goals scored, they are the top-scoring team in this season’s UEFA Europa League.

Both matches kick off at 8.00pm and will be streamed live on BTSport.com and via the BT Sport App.
