The BBC will broadcast live FA Cup action this evening as Manchester City host Brighton & Hove Albion in the opening semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s side take on Chris Hughton’s Seagulls for the right to play in the showpiece match on this ground in the final next month.
City eased through the early rounds, beating Rotherham United 7-0, Burnley 5-0 and Newport County 4-1, but they were given a scare in the quarter-finals when they had to come back from 2-0 down against Championship Swansea City, eventually winning 3-2.
Brighton have defeated Bournemouth, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County and Millwall to get here, and are looking for only their second appearance in the final, and first since a losing effort to Manchester United – albeit after a replay – in 1983.
Gary Lineker will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 5.10pm, where he’ll be joined in the studio by Alan Shearer and Jermaine Jenas.
The match will also be streamed live via the BBC iPlayer and in Ultra HD for 4K viewers.
The second semi final tie will take place on Sunday 7th April as Watford host Wolverhampton Wanderers live on BT Sport.
