Kay Adams leaving Good Morning Football, heading to Amazon Prime?

Kay Adams on Sky Sports

Good Morning Football presenter Kay Adams is to leave the programme.

According to the New York Post, the host could land as lead presenter of Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football pregame show.

“Kay has been a big part of the success of Good Morning Football and we hope to keep her in the NFL Media family for years to come,” Alex Riethmiller, the vice president of communications for NFL Media, told The Post.

Kay has been a host on GMFB since 2016.

It was announced last month that iconic play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and Emmy-winning analyst Kirk Herbstreit will call Amazon’s exclusive coverage of NFL Thursday Night Football, which kicks off on Thursday 15th September 2022.

The 11-year deal between Amazon and the NFL includes 15 regular-season games and one preseason game per year, with Prime Video also delivering new pregame, halftime, and postgame shows
