NFL commentator Joe Buck will host ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown this evening.

He will sit in for Scott Van Pelt, who has lost his voice.

Tonight’s game takes place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the Raiders host Green Bay Packers.

Joe will be joined at the desk by his wife and ESPN reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck, Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, Robert Griffin III and Larry Fitzgerald.

Scott posted on social media, saying: “So, we played another fun edition of will Scott’s voice quit before the show ends last night.

Unfortunately, I woke up to zero voice at all. Just gone. As a result, no trip to Vegas for Monday Night Countdown or @SportsCenter.

“@Buck and @MichelleBeisner will be fantastic handling MNC. @RGIII @mspears96 @Realrclark25 @LarryFitzgerald Have a great show to bring you.

“Very frustrating to put everyone in this spot. Hopefully back at it soon.”

The game kicks-off at 8.15pm ET.

For viewers in the UK, the game will be shown live on Channel 5 and Sky Sports NFL from 1.15am UK time.
