The 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship will take place this evening.

It will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the eighth College Football Playoff National Championship.

The game will determine the national champion of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for the 2021 season.

The game will feature the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs, both of whom ended the regular season with a 13-1 record.

Georgia enters the game seeking its third national championship, while Alabama enters seeking its 19th.

The game will be shown live on BT Sport 1 (UK) from 1.00am, and from 8.00pm ET on ESPN (USA).

Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will announce their eighth National Championship together, while Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath Report from the sidelines.
