Snooker World Championship

The 2024 World Snooker Championship takes place from 20th April to 6th May at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

The tournament – where Former champions Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump and Mark Williams are among the favourites – will be shown live on the BBC and on Eurosport.

Leading the BBC’s live television coverage will be seasoned presenters Hazel Irvine, Seema Jaswal, and Rishi Persad.

Adding depth to the analysis is a line-up of former world champions including Steve Davis, John Parrott, Stephen Hendry, Ken Doherty, Shaun Murphy, and Dennis Taylor, along with insightful commentary by John Virgo.

Abigail Davies will provide reports and special features throughout the tournament for the BBC. Rob Walker will once again be the master of ceremonies.

Former World Champion Neil Robertson will also be part of the BBC’s coverage after failing to qualify for the event.

Coverage of the Snooker World Championship kicks off on BBC Two on Saturday 20 April from 10am with uninterrupted coverage on the BBC iPlayer.

There will also be highlights on BBC Two in the evenings.

All the action will also be shown live on Eurosport and discovery+.
