World Cup 2018 continues this afternoon as Senegal take on Colombia in Group H at the Samara Arena in Russia.
This game is a winner-takes-all affair, with both teams knowing victory will guarantee their qualification.
A draw may also be enough to see both teams progress, should Japan lose heavily to the already-eliminated Poland in their match.
The only previous meeting between the sides was a friendly four years ago, which ended 2-2 despite no further goals being scored by either team following Ibrahima Seck’s 66th-minute red card for the Africans.
With both countries capable of exciting attacking football, another high-scoring encounter could be possible, despite there being considerably more riding on this fixture.
Colombia’s performances in reaching the quarter-finals four years ago mean they are likely to go into the fixture as favourites, but Senegal are much improved in recent years and will be looking to emulate their heroics in 2002, when they reached the last eight.
This match will also be streamed live via the BBC iPlayer.
