The BBC will broadcast the Calcutta Cup this evening as Scotland host England in Six Nations 2020.
The match takes place at Murrayfield, where both teams are looking to recover from respective defeats against Ireland and France last week.
Scotland could count themselves somewhat unfortunate to return from Dublin on the losing side, but England’s dismal start against France cost them any chance of victory.
The sides shared the spoils in a thrilling 38-38 draw when they met in the final match of last season’s competition.
The Scots staged an improbable fightback from 31-7 down at half-time, with only George Ford’s try and conversion in the final play of the game denying them a first win at Twickenham in 36 years, though the draw was enough for them to retain the Calcutta Cup following their 25-13 win here in 2018.
John Inverdale will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 4.00pm, where he will be joined in the studio by Martin Johnson, Jeremy Guscott, Andy Nicol and John Barclay.
Match commentary comes from Andrew Cotter, Brian Moore and Chris Paterson.
