Former Sky Sports football presenter Richard Keys makes his return to TV on 30th September when he launches the new BoxNation channel on Sky channel 456.
Keys, who now presents a morning radio show with Andy Gray on talkSPORT, will launch the channel with live coverage of the Commonwealth Super-Featherweight showdown between Liam Walsh and Paul Appleby from York Hall, East London.
Keys said: “The circumstances of my departure from Sky after twenty successful years has been well documented. I am very happy and thoroughly enjoying working with Talksport and my old mate Andy Gray but the launch of BoxNation is very exciting and I am thrilled to be part of it. It’s fantastic news for sports fans throughout the country.”
Richard will join fellow presenters Jim Rosenthal, Paul Dempsey, Steve Bunce and John Rawling.
Simon Green, BoxNation’s CEO, said, “I am thrilled that such an accomplished broadcaster as [[Richard Keys]] will be opening BoxNation’s LIVE fight coverage. This emphasizes just how impressive a channel it will be showing Frank Warren, Sauerland and Golden Boy live promotions.”
