BT Sport will broadcast live coverage of the Community Shield this afternoon as Manchester City take on Chelsea.
This traditional curtain-raiser to the top-flight campaign takes place at Wembley Stadium as the Premier League champions meet the FA Cup winners.
Pep Guardiola’s City will have been keen to continue where they left off during a record-breaking 2017/18 season, which saw them demolish their rivals en route to the title.
Opponents Chelsea will hope to reprise their FA Cup final display from Wembley back in May, when they beat Manchester United 1-0 courtesy of an Eden Hazard penalty.
Manager Antonio Conte has been sacked since then, replaced by former Napoli manager and fellow Italian Maurizio Sarri.
The match will be shown live on BT Sport 1 with live streaming via the BT sport app and BTSport.com from 2.00pm.
The BBC will air highlights from 10.30pm on BBC One.
