The 2019/20 Premier League season gets underway this evening as Liverpool host new boys Norwich City.
The match, held at Anfield, will be shown live on Sky Sports’ Friday Night Football.
The Reds are looking to go one better than last term when they finished as runners-up to Manchester City in a title race that went down to the final day of the season, while the primary goal of the newly promoted Canaries will be to avoid relegation.
Norwich have been relegated in both of their two most recent Premier League campaigns: 2013-14 and 2015-16.
Liverpool are unbeaten in the past 12 meetings. Norwich’s last win over the Reds was by 1-0 at Anfield in the Premier League in April 1994.
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event from 7.00pm with live streaming on Now TV and Sky Go.
Kick-off 8.00pm.
