Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side face Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie this evening.
The hosts are unbeaten at Anfield in 10 straight European matches.
Both teams each have five titles to their name – Liverpool’s last triumph coming in 2005 and Bayern’s in 2013 – but have both suffered recent disappointment.
The English club were beaten by Real Madrid in last season’s final, while Bayern have lost in the semi-finals in four of the last five years, including last season’s defeat by Madrid.
This season Bayern held off Ajax to finish first in Group E while Liverpool needed a matchday six win against Napoli to claim second place behind Paris Saint-Germain in Group C.
The match will be shown live on BT Sport 2 from 7.00pm with live streaming on BTSport.com and via the BT Sport App.
BT Sport will also air the Champions League clash between Lyon and Barcelona on BT Sport 3 from 7.45pm this evening.
