England’s 2018 Six Nations campaign gets underway this afternoon as their travel to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to take on Italy.
The sides experienced greatly contrasting fortunes in last year’s championship, with Italy losing all five of their matches for the second year running, and England retaining the title.
Despite the differing fortunes of the sides, Italy gave the champions a scare at Twickenham last term by taking a 10-5 half-time lead, but Eddie Jones’ men eventually prevailed 36-15.
The match will be shown live on ITV from 2.15pm, where Mark Pougatch is joined in the studio by Jonny Wilkinson, Clive Woodward and Lawrence Dallaglio.
