The new Premier League season gets underway this afternoon as the Champions Leicester City travel to Hull City.
The Tigers endured a turbulent pre-season that saw Steve Bruce depart as manager and a number of players suffer injuries, and the visitors will be hopeful of getting their title-defence off to a winning start.
It’s the first of two Premier League games to be shown on TV today – this one is live on Sky Sports 1 from 11.30am, where Simon Thomas presents.
Leicester City are unbeaten in the past five league meetings, winnnig 3 and drawing 2, and Hull have failed to score in their past three league games against Leicester, including in both Premier League meetings in 2014-15.
However, Hull knocked Leicester out of the League Cup last season, winning a penalty shoot-out 5-4 after a 1-1 draw at the KC Stadium.
BT Sport will air the second televised contest of the day as Manchester City host Sunderland at the Etihad from 5pm on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K.
