Germany’s Group F clash with Sweden is the last of three World Cup 2018 fixtures to be played today.

The match, which will be shown live on ITV, comes from the Fisht Stadium in Sochi, Russia.

Joachim Loew’s world champions were humbled by Mexico in their opening game, so they will know they have to get something from this fixture, or they will exit the tournament at the first hurdle.

Sweden overcame South Korea in their first match, with Andreas Granqvist’s 65th-minute VAR-awarded penalty proving the difference.

This is the first meeting between these countries at the World Cup finals since their last-16 fixture in Munich during the 2006 tournament.

The host nation secured a comfortable 2-0 victory, with both goals coming from striker Lukas Podolski.

That match would prove to be Sweden’s last at the World Cup until their opening group fixture with South Korea last Monday, while Jurgen Klinsmann’s side – with current boss Joachim Loew serving as assistant manager – would go out at the semi-final stage to eventual winners Italy.

Mark Pougatch will be live on ITV and ITV HD from 6.30pm, where he’ll be joined in the studio by Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Patrice Evra and Henrik Larsson.

Match commentary comes from Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon.
