The BBC will broadcast live Six Nations rugby this afternoon as the third and final fixture of the opening weekend of the campaign takes place.
France host England from 3.00pm, as the fierce rivals clash at the Stade de France.
England fell at the final hurdle in last year’s World Cup, but can take heart from making great strides since last year’s Six Nations and from a strength in depth that the others will find hard to match.
France have a new coach in former scrum-half Fabien Galthie, who will be hoping his new charges can continue their excellent recent record against England in Paris, where they’ve sent the visitors back home defeated on three of the last four occasions.
John Inverdale will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 2.30pm, where he will be joined in the studio by Martin Johnson, Jeremy Guscott and Thomas Castaignede.
