Premier League sides Everton and Arsenal get their 2017/18 UEFA Europa League campaigns underway today.

Everton travel to Atalanta in Group E as the sides meet for the very first time.

The match takes place at the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia and is Atalanta’s first piece of European football since the 1990/91 season, when they were eliminated by Inter Milan in the UEFA Cup quarter-finals.

Coverage starts at 5.30pm on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport Showcase. Showcase is available for free on Freeview channel 115.

Then at 8pm, Arsenal host Cologne in Group H at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are making their UEFA Europa League group stage debut; their last appearance in this competition was the 2000 UEFA Cup final, which they lost on penalties to Galatasaray.

Runners-up in the two-legged 1986 UEFA Cup final, Cologne are back in Europe for the first time in 20 years; their only previous group campaigns were in the UEFA Intertoto Cup.

Coverage starts at 8.00pm on BT Sport 2.

A round-up of the UEFA Europa League matchday one fixtures will be shown on ITV from 10.40pm this evening.
