From 9pm tonight Sky News will run daily one minute bulletins on Pick TV, the Freeview channel that showcases Sky content.

The bulletins will be fast paced updates of the day’s top stories and will be presented from the Sky News Centre.

The first bulletin will be presented by Sky News evening presenter, Martin Stanford.

“This is a great opportunity for Sky News to give Freeview viewers a snapshot of our world-class news coverage,” said John Ryley, Head of Sky News.

“Viewers will be able to watch the specially created bulletin and digest the top four to five news stories of the day, and can always turn to Freeview channel 82 where Sky News is available for a more in depth look at the day’s news.”

Stephen Ladlow, Channel Controller for Pick TV added: “We’re thrilled to bring Sky News’ world-class service to our audience on Pick TV.”

Sky News is available on Sky Channel 501, Freeview channel 82 and Virgin Net 602.
