Sky News is to launch a new role called ‘Digital Politics Editor’.
Tom Rayner, who currently serves as a political correspondent at Sky, will take up the role after Easter.
“We’ve got big plans for the way we cover UK politics and hope to launch some ambitious new digital initiatives in the months ahead,” said Tom.
He has worked for Sky News since 2007.
Before joining the politics team he was Asia correspondent and before that he ran the Middle East bureau in Jerusalem and reported from Gaza during the 2012 and 2014 conflicts.
