Selina Scott has reached a settlement with Channel Five.

Sources have told a few newspapers that the payout is likely to be around £250.000.

Scott was reportedly lined up to cover for Natasha Kaplinsky while she was on Maternity leave, but was subsequently overlook. Matt Barbet and Isla Traquair were announced as replacements in June.
