POLITICO and Sky News have partnered to release Politics at Jack and Sam’s, a new weekly podcast which launches this Sunday (1st October).
Jack Blanchard and Sam Coates will give listeners everything they need to know about the week ahead in British politics.
Every Sunday, audiences will be welcomed into the home of either Blanchard or Coates.
The pair will be joined by expert guests to delve deeper into the big themes expected to dominate the week ahead, helping listeners better understand the fast-moving political world and its implications ahead of the next General Election.
Sky News’ Deputy Political Editor Sam Coates said: “I can’t wait to get started with Jack on a podcast designed to catapult you into the heart of the political debate at the start of each week.
We’ll be across the key interviews, the stories and the entire political agenda hoping to keep our listeners ahead of the game in UK politics, straight from our sofas every Sunday”.
The first episode will be recorded just ahead of release from the heart of the Conservative Party conference in Manchester.
The second episode will be recorded from the Labour Party conference in Liverpool.
POLITICO’s UK Editor Jack Blanchard added: “Politics at Jack and Sam’s is going to be the only briefing you need to set you up for the coming week in UK politics. We want to keep our listeners ahead of the game and fully informed about what’s coming next on the political scene.
“Sam and I have been friends for years and we meet up all the time to swap gossip and intel about Westminster politics over a glass or two of half-decent wine – now we can invite everyone else to join the conversation.”
New episodes of Politics at Jacks and Sam’s will be available every Sunday evening from the usual podcast platforms.
