Lucy Owen is expecting her first child after undergoing IVF treatment.
In an exclusive interview with Wales on Sunday, Lucy, three-months pregnant reveals her joy as she prepares to become a mum.
Lucy, 36, and Husband, Rhodri, 35, have spent the past two years desperately trying for a baby since getting married in 2004.
But the pair are now looking forward to becoming proud parents after Lucy became pregnant after undergoing IVF treatment at a private clinic in London.
Lucy is expected to announce her pregnancy on ITV Wales’ news programme tomorrow.
Lucy said: “Rhodri and I are absolutely over the moon. We have been trying for a baby of our own for a couple of years. We are thrilled with the news.
“I can’t wait to become a mum and Rhodri is so excited. He is like a little puppy.
“I have been wanting to tell everyone for ages.
“It’s been so difficult to keep it a secret as I have put on weight in the newsroom and I don’t fit into some of my clothes!”
