Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson have been sacked by GB News.

Fox has been sacked for comments he made about journalist Ava Evans on Dan Wootton’s Tonight programme.

Fellow host Calvin Robinson voiced support for Fox and Wootton – saying GB News bosses were “scared” of Ofcom and “the woke mob”.

There is no news on Wootton’s future but remains he suspended when an investigation continues.

In a statement, GB News said: “Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson were both suspended last week pending internal investigations that have now concluded.

“As of today, GB News has ended its employment relationship with Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson.

“The internal investigation into Dan Wootton continues.”

Over 8,800 people complained about Fox’s remarks to media regulator Ofcom, which has launched its own investigation.
