News Channel of the Year - Sky News

Sky News has won News Channel of the year for the 6th time. Sky has also won the Innovation award for Sky.com News. Alex Crawford won Television Journalist of the Year.

BBC won the scoop of the year award for the Northern Rock story, Specialist Journalist for Nick Robinson, Camera operator for Darren Conway and the multimedia award for the floods.

Jeremy Paxman picked up the Presenter of the Year award.

ITV/ITN won the News Programme of the Year award for ITV Evening News.

Channel 4 (ITN) won the award for best International News for Iraq: Apache Company and for Home news for The Crevice Trial: Links To 7/7.
