Laurence Lee has joined Al-Jazeera English as a presenter based at its London Broadcast Centre.

Lee was previously a correspondent at Sky News. He has covered the Israel-Lebanon conflict from northern Israel, the 2004 Presidential elections, the uprisings in Georgia and Ukraine and the aftermath of Beslan.

Al-Jazeera English Director of News Steve Clark said “We are very pleased to have Laurence on board. As the channel expands post launch Laurence compliments the Al Jazeera brand and the quality of journalism we are proud to represent.
