Keir Simmons has become a Daddy to two little girls.

Taking to his public Facebook account to announce the news, Keir said: “Our twins are here! They are early and very small.

“So are being looked after by wonderful doctors and nurses in a neo natal unit.

“We are spending as much time as possible with them hoping lots of love will help them grow quickly.”

Keir, who recently announced he is leaving ITV News to join NBC News, married Jessica Binns in Kikladhes, Greece on 2 June 2012.
