Hoda Kotb has been named co-host of NBC News’ TODAY joining Savannah Guthrie.
The pair will co-host the 7-9am hours along with weather presenter Al Roker and Orange Room host Carson Daly.
Kotb has been co-presenting with Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show following the firing of Matt Lauer amid sexual misconduct in November 2017.
She will continue to co-host the 10am hour with Kathie Lee Gifford.
Kotb – now 53-years-old – joined NBC in 1998 as a correspondent for Dateline, and has been co-hosting the fourth hour of Today with Gifford since 2008.
She started her career in local television news as a presener and reporter for WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, from 1992 to 1998.
