Al Jazeera has 20 branded London taxis which have been attracting tourists and Londoners.

The taxis feature some of Al Jazeera English channel’s well-known faces including Sir David Frost, Rageh Omar, Darren Jordan, Lauren Taylor, Stephen Cole, Veronica Pedrosa, Jasim Azzawi, Riz Khan, Ghida Fakhry, Shiulie Ghosh, Jane Dutton and Barbara Serra.

The taxis took to the streets last month and will be visible for a full year until July 2008. a spokesman said.

“We are delighted with the feedback we have received on how well received the Al Jazeera taxi campaign has been.

The taxi designs were done by Al Jazeera’s creative department. The logo and Al Jazeera English colour palette are prominent and onlookers are directed to where they can view the English Channel on Sky 514.
