Dan Rivers joins CNN

ITN reporter Dan Rivers has been appointed CNN's Bangkok Correspondent.

Based in Thailand he will report from the region for all of the news organisation's services including CNN International and CNN/US.

According to http://media.guardian.co.uk/broadcast/s ... .htmlMedia Guardian Rivers is going to be a joint correspondent for both ITV and CNN based in Bangkok, meaning that ITV's current Asia Correspondent John Irvine will be heading off to Beijing to front the new bureau there.
