i have noticed how they always have the guy interview the guests and that if you ever watch what is going on in the background its always the male presenters you see with the backroom staff and not the women.i dare say the women dont need to worry about putting in much effort because they always have the option of sleeping with the boss when the sh*t hits the fan

Point taken, but as a woman I have to stick up for them a bit. Maybe the reason they don't (usually) let the women do the interviews is because generally (in fact, 90% of the time) the bloke is older and a lot more experienced than the woman. Also, maybe Sky bosses have taken into account that there is this attitude that the women aren't as good as the men and think that the only way they'll be taken seriously is if they get the geezer to do the serious stuff.

no i think it's because the woman's role is look to good and giggle at whatever her male co-presenter says.

sounds crude, but let's not pretend otherwise.

When was the last time you saw Claire Tomlinson giggle?

I do agree though, that if you compare it with the BBC (OK, hardly the same kettle of fish) those girls do giggle an awful lot.

Agreed. And keep your compaining to a minimum will ya?

Yes, I'm a woman therefore (according to you) will never be intelligent enough to understand you. But I am intelligent enough to see when someone has a bee in their bonnet.

Well SSLuke, it seems as though you very rarely have anything nice to say about anyone on here.

I'd love to continue having this charming conversation with you but I have to leave the house now. Jobs to be done, shoes to be bought. Or, does that make me sound like a typical woman? Oh dear.

Bye!
