I've just noticed the start up on Sky Sports News has changed. Mobile and web address included in the new version.

Sky Sports News are still live for the 12am hour, like they usually are on the closing of the transfer window.

Craig Slater live at Portsmouth, James Cooper live at Man City, David Craig live at Newcastle, Rob Dorsett live at Birmingham, and Andy Burton in the studio.

brilliant good coverage from Sky Sports News.

No Richard, Martin or Andy doing the Carling Cup final today.

Jeff Stelling is presenting, Alan Parry Lead Comms, Alan Smith Co-Comms.

This isn't normal is it? I'm sure Richard, Martin and Andy done past years.

EDIT: and Andy Burton replacing Geoff Shreeves as touchline reporter.

Yes Sky kept faith in the team that has covered the Carling Cup all season; Stelling, Parry, Smith, Burton. The only time they've done this previously since winning back the Football League contract was in 2004 I think when the final was between two 'unnattractive' teams (Bolton & Middlesbrough) when Ian Payne hosted and Smith and Rob Hawthorne commentated. Normally they bring Keys and Gray back for the final.

Very surprised Andy Gray didnt appear at all today, surely your number 1 man should play some part in your coverage of a cup final? Martin Tyler has only covered a couple of League Cup matches for Sky in the past 11 years so no surprise he was not present today.

Sky's coverage of tonight's live Table Tennis contains all new graphics. Similar in look to the current ones, but with a different animation, and the graphic cuts off at the widescreen area rather than extend to the whole screen width (if you know what I mean?!) Are these just for the table tennis tonight or a sign of things to come across all sports? Guess we'll find out during Wednesday's Prem match.

Also, Sky have unsurprisingly retained Champions League TV rights for the UK from 2009-2012. Different to the current set-up though. Sky have exclusive rights to ALL of Tuesday's matches, and all of Wednesday's matches EXCEPT the first choice. That'll be shown on one of BBC, ITV or Five, and will be announced soon. Details on the UEFA website.

Brand new Goals on Sunday today on Sky Sports. Ian Payne is Kammy's new co-host, there's a more modern, stylish looking set and plush leather sofas. The graphics are the same as those used on live football except they are light blue and white. And there is new titles, including Easy like Sunday morning (despite the show going on till 1pm every week!) as the new theme tune. On first impressions its a really nice refresh for the show and I think Ian Payne will be great on it.
