roy keane departure, george best, world cup bid...any non-football stories today? surely we have sky sports news for people who deem an ageing football player leaving a club an important story. I suppose there is something about Naomi Campbell for us newshounds....

Hi, I totally agree. If like me you are not interested in sport you do not want the regular news channels full of it when there are dedicated channels for sports news like as you say Sky Sports News. I guess the Roy Keane story is quite a big story though for the many people who are interested, but as for George Best and the word cup in 13 years time, who cares?!?!

totally DISAGREE! george best is a legend he changed sport forever. if an ex prime minister was in hospital there would be as much coverage. roy keane leaving united is an even bigger story than the glazier takeover so deserves more coverage than that!

An ex Prime Minsiter led the country. What did George Best do? Get a liver transplant and then abuse it. I have no time for this man. Mention it, sure, but stick the majority of the coverage on Sky Sports News along with all the other boring SPORT news. I find there is WAY too much sport news on Sky News, especially as Sky have a dedicated Sports News channel! This is another magnet for viewers towards N24.
