Saw a new lady presenting the weather this morning

So is she an addition to the team or has somebody left

Any ideas

Her name is Denise. She's brand new to presenting and was one of 3 winners of an internal search for a presenter campaign/competition at Sky that was held over the last six months at 2004.

Give her a chance....

my favourite is jo wheeler ........i remember a few years back she grew her hair really long , and i honestly thought it was a supermodel making a guest appearance ! but i dont think there are any supermodels that eloquent.

Hey, come on now..! It was probably Denise's first time on air - you can forgive her a few umms and erms. Not only is she trying to get it right for the viewers - us, she's also thinking about the Sky bosses that are watching, all her family, probably, unknown number around the world & all her peers, Francis, Jo etc too.

Anyone's first day on the job can be a little daunting!

Oh for gods sake, I can't believe some of you. The girl has been on air for five minutes and already you start bitching about how you dislike her. Give her a chance. Besides, I would be interested to see how any of you perform, having said that you would probably never get the chance anyway, I expect your faces are more suited to radio.

Well to a point I see where you are coming from BUT in my line of work it demands you get it right from day one, mistakes are not tolerated etc.

I didnt realise it was her first ever time on TV.......even so I still had to turn over!

Yeah I saw Lucy on Sky News this morning.....I think it may have been her first day. I think she was fairly nervous, but she did well!

Anyone else think she looks slightly like Lisa "I'm so hot" Burke?

Please leave off all the new folk - it is very daunting being new, and being aware that there is always some nice people ready to write your P45 on a forum site.

Veterans like Francis and Hazel would have been wobbley to start with as well. They will get better with time - I just hope people give them the chance to shine!!

i fell in love with her from day 1

and its grown stronger ever since

even lucy never came close

just wish she'd get the weather right lol
