The coverage has been excellent and i hope they are all safe

the coverage has been v. good indeed - they have a strong team out there - it will be a shame tp see Emma go to Africa when she seems so good in the Middle East.

does anyone know why he's been doing both editions of Sky News Today recently whilst Chris Roberts and Mark Longhurst were on during the weekend?

Ye, the schedule seems to be a bit mixed up right now. Surprised to see Chris Roberts on at the weekend.

so Brazier is still doing both Sky News Todays while Chris Roberts and Mark Longhurst have been shunted to weekends. This is odd - can anyone 'in the know' on this board shed any light on whether this is permanent or not?

I think its permanent, this is part of the cut backs.. Brazier's cheaper than the combination of Mark and Chris.

I understand that Dixon and Roberts are doing alternative weeks. I'd guess that Chris will be doing 10-5 this weekend and Popplewell if not Dixon on 5-12.

Vicky 23, you may be impressed to know that October 20th has been declared 'National Colin Brazier day' for services to eyebrows, sarcasm and generally being fantastic. This isn't just because I'm a student with nothing better to do honest!

He was even better this morning with the comments about how husbands/wives are first thing in the morning - I can only assume he's not unfamiliar with sleeping on the sofa!

Someone sent in a message saying how their wife usually overslept and then was grumpy all day and the Brazier said 'We must be married to the same woman'

There was another sarcasm comment in the afternoon too, but from Julie Etchingham about him;

"It's really sad when people laugh at jokes of their own."
