I bet Colin uses L'Oreal Elnette 'Extra Strength'. I see Colin is still in the warm studio while Julie has to freeze in Ipswich

That's a fantastic idea! Obviously there will be pages like 'Gel or Hairspay?', 'Where I buy my socks' and of course 'Colin's top 5 new-rave acts' (at the moment it's 1) Klaxons 2) CSS 3) DataRock 4) Shitdisco 5) MSTRKRFT).

Maybe he's developed a complex about all the comments reguarding gel or hairsparay and felt like giving his hair a rest, otherwise it's a good look Colin's working today - it says " I'm a serious journalist, not just a guy who admits to cheating at cricket on national television"

The 'Cricket Cheat' comment was funny. He was looking very good today! What I love about Colin is the fact that he manages a light hearted comment no matter what serious news story he is covering i.e Suffolk Murders. Today when talking about the one minute silence at theIpswich Town v Leeds United match tomorrow he managed to get in that he was a 'Long suffering Leeds United Fan'. Later when Martin Brunt was giving an update on the Police investigation Colin joked that Martin had remembered his fractions from his school days.

These are the things that make it so enjoyable to watch Colin, He is funny

I know Leeds are totally crap and will probably be relegated yet again. I wonder if Colin went to the match in Ipswich yesterday, Leeds lost, no surprise

He does look freezing, he needs gloves and a woolly hat. I would quite happily volunteer as Colin's personal tea maker, I would even throw in a couple of sandwiches!

I thought you were going to say you'd willingly volunteer to warm him up (nudge, nudge etc) - they don't allow that kind of thing on UK television!

I would be the very first to the queue for that 'voluntary' service too

Of course - after all there's no harm in getting an extra jumper for someone is there? That was what we were talking about right?

How much do you want to bet that the Brazier is thorougly pleased to be leaving Ipswich? Now that the guy's been charged they can send a lowly minion to stand out in the cold!

Hmmm I can't help wondering if, promted by all the discussion that's gone on, The Brazier got nothing but socks and ties for christmas - I guess we'll find out when the news gets back to normal (well maybe not the socks part!)

You lasted until evening? I was done by mid-day, you are truely hardcore and I bow down to you! Still I can't think of a better excuse to escape Xmas day joy - 'I've really got to go - international headlines wait for no man, but I'll take some mince pies with me in case I get hungry'
