Great new look, but only 1 thing missing - the lovely Viv Creegor !

Has she left Sky?

I know she never had set shifts to work and seemed to cover at various times but will this continue ?

Has anyone got any info?

I think she has - as she no longer appears on SKY News Green Room website - the official website for presenters and programmes on SKY News. I wish her well whatever she does. She was and is SKY News as far as I am concerned!

Agreed. I think Viv would have made an excellent choice for one of the evening shows, maybe instead of James Rubin. Hopefully she'll make some apperances during peoples holidays. A lot more people to cover for now!

Personally I would have preferred Viv instead of Gillian Joseph on the evening show

I know we're only guessing but maybe Viv didnt want to commit to regular times

Is it fact that she has left completely or will she still be covering other presenters? She is no longer listed on the presenters page but isnt on the past presenters either!

I'll be sorry if we've seen the last of Viv on Sky News. Whatever she does I certainly wish her the very best of luck. She was a great presenter on Sky News and I reckon they've lost a consumate professional in Viv.

Gr?inne Seoige is no longer on the Greenroom sight either, even though she was. So, what I'm saying is, don't take it that just because Viv isn't on the green-room sight that she's no longer a presenter.

Plus, if I'm not mistaken, she's been at Sky since the beginning? She's almost alegend at Sky News. - So, if she was to leave, surely they'd have had a goodbye package similar to that of Bob's.

Viv Creegor and Kay Burley both have been with SKY form 05/02/89 and Kay Burley was the very 1st face on SKY TVs new look in 1989.

I so do not think anyone esle who us with SKY now has been there form the start

But Martin Popplewell and Anjali Rao are not listed on Sky News Greenroom either, yet they have both presented post relaunch. I hope Viv has not left.

I just wish they hadn't got so many new people over their current presenters. James Rubin, I thought would be good, and maybe he will get better, though let's face it after a multi-million pound relaunch, you expect it to be mint from day one.

Gillian Joseph is good enough, though I think Sky News already had good people to use, i.e. Vivien Creeger and Anjali Rao, and Juliette Foster. Ginny Buckly was not necessary, however, Anna Jones I do like.

However, Sky are trying to improve their output, and the old rolling news that was the same stuff every half hour on a continuos loop was boring. At least this gives us something to talk about.
