I think the blue and red tabloid style of the channel has to move on soon. Sky's superior coverage of recent big news events, such as the London bombs, suggests they are a much more mature channel now than they where even 5 years ago. There's something a bit too American and "done on the cheep but we'll mask it with bold colours" about the blue and red scenario now. It all looks a bit Tyne Tees to me.
