He does deserve a better slot. Not in the evenings though. I remember when he used to present 9pm - midnight - he did a good job of putting me asleep. He is better off in the day schedule. Plus, on the 2100-0000 he was with Gillian Joseph - what a great organic sleeping pill.

I thought at the time that Alex assumed the post in Moscow that he'd be quite good, however, he hasn't really done the job justice. Laurence Lee was far better, just a shame that he went over to AJI.
