Eccentric contestant Rylan Clark is favourite to face the axe in this Sunday’s X Factor show. According to leading online betting comparison site Oddschecker.com, the ‘Marmite Act’ is at 7/2 to be eliminated this weekend.
Despite avoiding the chop so far, including a controversial survival in week one, the bookmakers believe that the 23-year-old’s time on the show is coming to an end.
Liverpudlian Christopher Maloney is second favourite for elimination at 15/4, while long-term favourite Ella Henderson looks quite safe, with odds as long as 100/1 to be the next to leave the show.
So far this series, the bottom two acts have always faced deadlock, with the judges unable to agree on whom to send home, but the bookies think another is unlikely this weekend, with ‘no deadlock’ odds on at 4/5.
