X Factor 2011: Week 7 – Movies

Updated on Saturday 19 November 2011 by @TVNewsroom

The theme for tonight’s X Factor is Movies.

The remaining six acts will perform songs from their favourite movies, providing a wide choice of eras. In 2009 Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Joe McElderry took on tracks from Pulp Fiction, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Lion King.

The song choices are:
Little Mix: Don’t Let Go – from Set It Off
Marcus Collins: Higher And Higher – from Ghostbusters II
Misha Bryan: I Have Nothing – from The Bodyguard
Janet Devlin: Kiss Me – from She’s All That
Amelia Lily: Think – from Bridget Jones
Craig Colton: License To Kill – from License To Kill

— The artwork for this year’s X Factor charity single has been released, with children’s drawings creating a picture of a star. The single is a cover of Rose Royce’s Wishing On A Star with the proceeds going to ACT & Children’s Hospices UK.

The single, which featured the X Factor finalist, JLS and One Direction, is due to be released on November 20.

— Misha Bryan is favourite for the chop this week at 6/4, followed by Janet Devlin at 3/1. Marcus Collins and Amelia Lily are currently joint favourites to win the show outright.

— Rihanna and Rebecca Fugerson, last year’s runner up, will perform on Sunday’s results show.
