Road Warrior Animal has died at the age of 60 according to a tweet by Hulk Hogan.
Hogan said: “RIP Animal, love you my brother, I know you and Hawk have a lot of unfinished business to take care of! God speed and blessings to your beautiful family, one love4Life. HH”
Animal was born Joseph Michael Laurinaitis on September 12, 1960. Along with Road Warrior Hawk, he was one half of the tag team The Road Warriors/The Legion of Doom.
He headlined multiple pay-per-view events for the WWF and WCW, competing for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at 2001’s Sin.

The Road Warriors were inducted into the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame.
