Sky1 will broadcast two episodes of Glee this evening, paying tribute to Cory Monteith.
The 31-year-old star was found dead at Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel on Saturday afternoon.
The first episode is ‘Heart’, the 13th episode from Season 3, where Rachel’s fathers – Hiram and Leroy Berry (Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell) – throw a dinner party in honor of Rachel and Finn’s (Cory Montieth) engagement.
The second is ‘Nationals’, the 21st episode from the third season. The New Directions compete for the 2012 Nationals championship in Chicago, Illinois, performing for celebrity judges Lindsay Lohan, Perez Hilton and local politician Martin Fong (Rex Lee).
Sky1 – who has had the broadcast rights to Glee from Season 3 – said this morning: “On behalf of Sky & UK fans of Glee, we want to express our sadness over Cory Monteith’s death. Our thoughts are with his family & friends.
The two episodes, which replaces the Simpsons, Futurama and Micro Monsters, will air from 6pm – 8pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD tonight!.
