Having been favourite for eviction from the house only last week, leading odds comparison site Oddschecker.com has revealed that Tricia Penrose is now one of the front runners to win Celebrity Big Brother 2013, at a best price 7/2 to outstay her fellow contestants.
The Heartbeat actress has seen a dramatic increase in support over the last few days, having been 15/8 favourite to be voted off the show ahead of the most recent eviction. Actress Gillian Taylforth was booted out instead and ever since then, Penrose’s odds for the Big Brother crown have shortened.
After consistently languishing towards the bottom of the public vote each week, Kirby born Penrose was as long as 119/1 to win the show as recently as January 11th and was still available at 25/1 just three days ago. But those odds have now disappeared as public support has grown.
Rylan Clark remains the odds-on favourite to win the show at a best price of 5/12, however the former X Factor contestant was as short as 2/9 on January 19th. Horse racing jockey Frankie Dettori and Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney have seen their popularity plummet and both are 50/1 outsiders to win, having been just 4/1 and 8/1 respectively less than two weeks ago.
All seven contestants face tonight’s double eviction. The winner will be crowned in Friday’s live finale.
