The BBC will broadcast highlights of the ‘Children In Need Rocks’ concert this evening.

Gary Barlow brings together some of the biggest names in the music industry for a special one-night-only concert for BBC Children in Need.

Hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton, the concert will rock the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, and feature performances from some of the biggest recording artists in the world.

There’s performances from Robbie Williams, Barry Manilow, Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks, Bastille, Tom Odell, The Lumineers, and Passenger, among others.

The evening will also include some surprise guests and will show some of the appeal films of the work that BBC Children in Need carries out with disadvantaged children in the UK, as well as the spectacular billed line-up.

The programme is on BBC One HD from 8pm this evening, while the main Children in Need telethon takes place tomorrow evening (Friday) from 7.30pm.
