Damian Grammaticas is a Europe Correspondent for BBC News.
He joined the BBC in 1994 and became Hong Kong correspondent in 2000, covering stories from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Australia and the Philippines.
Grammaticas became BBC Moscow correspondent in June 2003. He now regularly reports from Brussels covering the main issue of the United Kingdom leaving the EU.
Damian grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, where he was born in June 1970. He graduated from Corpus Christi College Cambridge in 1992 with a degree in English literature.
