Katie Razzall

Katherine Mary Razzall – born 31 October 1970 – is the BBC’s culture editor.

In January 2014, Newsnight hired Razzall, a Channel 4 News reporter, as a special correspondent. In May 2019, Newsnight promoted Razzall to UK editor.

In November 2021, Katie took the place of BBC News’ arts editor Will Gompertz in the new role of culture editor.

She is the daughter of Tim Razzall, Baron Razzall, the British Liberal Democrat politician and parliamentarian.

She has been married to the actor Oliver Milburn since 18 December 2004.
