Francis Collings was a reporter/presenter for the BBC News Channel and BBC World.
Francis joined the team of sports presenters/reporters on BBC News 24 in 1999 and was regular face on BBC World, for whom he covered the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea, as well as Wimbledon tennis events, Paralympic and Olympic games.
Brought up in Gibraltar, he started his broadcasting career as a local radio DJ at the age of 17. He’s lived in 8 countries and speaks three languages. He’s reported from many locations around the world.
He’s now a news reporter for TRT World, based in Istanbul, Turkey.
