Emma Spencer

Emma Spencer – Born May 26, 1978 – is a former presenter of Channel 4’s horse racing coverage

She joined the main Channel 4 Racing team in 2001 and in recent years as one of the lead presenters for the channel’s flat racing coverage.

She has presented horseracing from all the major festivals including the Derby, Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood plus a feast of international contest such as the Dubai World for the last six years, the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the Melbourne Cup and the best of racing from India.

Earlier in her career, Emma was twice champion amateur flat jockey and still rides on occasion in charity races.

Daughter of former trainer Lynda Ramsden, Emma has been around the horseracing scene all her life and was formerly married to champion flat jockey Jamie Spencer.

Emma is a very personable, experienced and popular presenter and public speaker. She has hosted numerous awards ceremonies, charity dinners and corporate events.

Emma lives in Newmarket with her three children.
