Ed Chamberlin is the main presenter of ITV’s Horse Racing coverage.
He joined Sky Sports as a freelance stats expert on ’90 minutes’ in August 2000 before moving in front of the camera as a presenter on Sky Sports News.
After graduating from Exeter Univesity with a Politics degree, Ed worked for Ladbrokes, compiling horse racing and cricket odds, before branching out on his own to set up Sports Advertiser, of which he was the editor for three years.
Since joining Sky, Ed has demonstrated his horse racing knowledge by backing Beauchamp Pilot, the winner of the 2002 Cambridgeshire Handicap, on ‘The Full SP’ and was rewarded by meeting Frankie Dettori.
Ed remains true to his Hampshire roots and is an avid follower of Southampton Football Club and Hampshire County Cricket Club.
Ed began presenting Premier League football coverage for Sky Sports in 2011 following the departure of Richard Keys.
A keen sportsman himself, Ed plays cricket, football, golf and tennis.
